How to Use Sawim Products?

At Sawim, we design products that are not only sustainable but also simple and enjoyable to use. Here’s your quick guide to getting the best out of your eco-conscious choices.

Pearl Sand Wax Candles

Step 1: Choose Your Vessel

Select a fire-safe container such as glass, ceramic, or thick wood. Avoid thin or flammable materials.

Step 2: Pour the Wax

Fill your vessel with pearl sand wax granules, leaving at least 1 inch of space at the top.

Step 3: Place the Wick

Insert a cotton or wood wick into the granules. Keep only a small tip (about 1 cm) above the surface for best burning.

Step 4: Add Scent (Optional)

Add a few drops of essential oil around the wick for fragrance. (Never pour oils directly into the flame.)

Step 5: Light and Enjoy

Light the wick. The granules will melt slowly for a clean, long-lasting burn.

Step 6: Reuse & Refresh

Once the wax solidifies, remove the wick and remix the granules. Or simply flip the solidified wick and use the other end. Break up any solid chunks and mix them back in.

Safety Notes:

Beeswax Food Wraps

Step 1: Warm in Hands

Gently warm the wrap with your palms to soften and activate the natural stickiness.

Step 2: Wrap Food or Cover Dishes

Use to cover bowls, wrap sandwiches, cheese, fruits, or bread. Avoid raw meat or fish.

Step 3: Seal and Store

Press firmly; the wrap will cling naturally. Store food as usual in the fridge or on the counter.

Step 4: Clean with Care

Rinse with cool water and mild soap. Use a soft sponge; avoid hot water or harsh scrubbing. Air dry completely before folding or storing.

Step 5: Reuse

With good care, wraps last up to 1 year. To refresh stickiness, you can re-coat with beeswax at home.

End of Life:

Compost or use as natural fire starters.

Reusable Paper Towels (Brushed Cotton)

Step 1: Set Up Your Roll or Stack

Wrap around a paper towel holder (they naturally cling together). Or fold neatly in a basket.

Step 2: Use as Normal

Perfect for wiping spills, cleaning surfaces, or even napkin use. Works well for greasy messes too.

Step 3: Store Used Towels

Keep a small laundry bag or basket in your kitchen to collect used towels.

Step 4: Wash & Care

Wash in cold or warm water with your regular laundry. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Air dry or tumble on low.

Step 5: Reuse

The fabric softens and becomes more absorbent with use. Each towel lasts around 1 year or more.

End of Life:

Cut into small pieces and compost or recycle responsibly.
